Coin Software Pty Ltd today announced it has developed a new software module which assists financial planning practices in implementing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Coin expands software package for advisers following high ranking in the latest Investment Trends Financial Planning Software Report.
The launch comes at a time when Coin has also received high rankings for its continued investment in its software in the December 2008 Investment Trends Financial Planning Software Report.
The new Campaign Management Module allows advisers with limited marketing and graphic experience to create tiered campaigns across several mediums, then connect them to reporting and tracking tools to measure their effectiveness.
Coin Managing Director Darelle Jenkins said that the current economic conditions have made growing a business extremely challenging for financial planners, which has placed a spotlight on their marketing efforts.
“In the current environment advisers are recognising more than ever the need to market their business, whether this is to existing clients or prospects,” Ms Jenkins said.
“They are also considering new interactive ways of doing this beyond the standard email, considering blogging or podcasts to make them stand out from the crowd.
“However, for those with limited experience or dedicated marketing resources, creating a campaign that spans several mediums can be very challenging. In addition to this, at a time when costs are being monitored, firms need to be able to track the results from their efforts to ensure they are maximising all of the opportunities available to them.
“After recognising this need we have created a Campaign Management tool that creates a simple way to keep in touch with clients and reach out to new prospects using a multi-channel approach within this rapidly changing environment.”
The Campaign Management tool aims to streamline budget capabilities for financial planning practices while also allowing seamless and simple campaign management.
Demonstrating Coin’s continued focus on developing its software capabilities for advisers, Coin ranked number one for new adviser functionality added over the course of 2008 (most improved), in the December 2008 Investment Trends Financial Planning Software Report.
Also in the report, Coin’s core solution Coin Office has ranked number one for its modeling capabilities, which includes tools to assist in superannuation planning, transition to retirement strategies and gearing opportunities.
Coin Office also ranked number one among its peers in the report for the quality of plan production, and for reporting, which includes services such as tax reporting and SOA generation.
Ian Webster from Investment Trends commented on the report, “Coin Office v3 was released at the end of 2008. This release marks the evolution of a desktop program into a centrally hosted application with integrated server based engines for reporting and an API (active program interface) for the integration of client data with external systems. Coin has become a sophisticated enterprise planning application with industry best modeling and SOA production functionality.”
‘It is extremely important to us at Coin that we can continue to add value to advisers by providing them with features and services that meet their shifting needs,” Ms Jenkins said. “We are delighted to have been recognised in the latest Investment Trends Planning Software Report for the quality of our Coin office suit and intend to continue our ongoing focus on both development and innovation.”
